Ben & Jerry's Dedicates a Flavor to Gay Marriage

Ice cream-makers rename one of its flavors Apple-y Ever After.

Californians on both sides of the political aisle will have at least one thing to look forward to if and when gay marriage is legalized in the state.

Quirky ice cream-makers Ben & Jerry's has renamed their apple pie flavored ice cream to support gay marriage in the United Kingdom.

The new name is Apple-y Ever After and the company says on its Facebook page that it is to "to raise awareness about the importance of marriage equality.'

Ben and Jerry's has partnered with the gay rights advocacy group Stonewall to talk "about the importance of marriage equality by renaming our Apple Pie flavour, Apple-y Ever After!"
