A male suspect robbed a taco truck parked in Benicia at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon before hopping in the passenger seat of a car and fleeing the scene, police said.
The armed robbery happened around 1:50 p.m. in a parking lot near Park Road and Industrial Way, according to police.
The suspect, who was reportedly wearing dark clothing and a mask, and the driver were last scene driving north on Park Road in a blue or grey Honda CRV, police said.
Police have obtained surveillance footage of the car driving away from the scene, but they do not have video detailing the actual crime.
The employees inside the taco truck were treated at a local hospital for minor burns.
