Sheriff's deputies found the body of a transient woman Tuesday morning in a campsite she was apparently living in near the Byron Airport in unincorporated Contra Costa County.
Just before 9 a.m. deputies responded to the vicinity of Byron Highway and Herdlyn Road, southeast of Byron.
They found the body in a field and confirmed that she was dead. Investigators found no sign of trauma or foul play, however.
