Boulder Comes Crashing Down on Car Window Near Guerneville

It was a very close call for a driver near Guerneville Monday.

A boulder came crashing through the passenger window of one man's car as he was driving on Cazadero Highway.

Rescue crews say the boulder fell 40 feet before hitting the car and causing the driver to hit a tree. Incredibly, the boulder only grazed the driver.

The driver was taken to a local hospital to be checked out, but showed no serious injuries.

Fire officials say the rain may have caused the boulder to break loose from the hill.
