A car fire on the Bay Bridge has caused major traffic delays Saturday night.
The San Francisco Fire Department tweeted Saturday night about the fire and asked drivers to the avoid the area.
A viewer photo showed San Francisco firefighters extinguishing the fire. While a viewer video showed the minivan engulfed in flames with some sparks coming out.
The incident happened on the San Francisco or the westbound side of the bridge. Traffic was reported to be backed up on westbound I-80 near Treasure Island.
San Francisco Fire said the car has since been removed and traffic has been cleared in the area.
No other details have been released at this time.
