Charlie Brown at Center of Lawsuit

Heirs to composer say they were underpaid.

Poor Charlie Brown. Just can't get a break.

It seems the family of Vince Guaraldi, the San Francisco musician who composed the Charlie Brown Christmas score, may have been underpaid when it comes to royalties on the songs, the SFist reports.

The suit, against Fantasy Records, based in Berkeley, alleges Guaraldi's children, David and Dia, were deliberately denied royalty money.

They claim they are owed more than $2 million from the record label.
