Who isn't talking about Charlie Sheen nowadays? His actions from a self-imposed media tour this week have transported the actor from famous to infamous.
Sheen-mania is spreading like a California wildfire as the country zooms in on a man in crisis.
Proof of America's newest obsession can be found in the San Francisco-based microblogging site, Twitter.
In just over 24 hours, @charliesheen crossed over the one-million-follower mark. He is gaining one follower every few seconds.
"In all sincerity... Thank you Twitter community for the warm reception & the followers that helped get me to 1M in 24 hours!!! #teamsheen," wrote Sheen.
We're not sure if Sheen is the fastest to a million (we have e-mails in to the PR department), but it is certainly the fastest in recent memory.
It took Ashton Kutcher months and he put a campaign on national television. Conan O'Brien's Twitter account was considered lightning fast when he got more than 300,000 in a day.

Sheen's first tweet came with a photo with himself and one of his "goddesses." "Winning..! Choose your Vice..."
He's also tweeted about the serious side of his life after Child Protective Services came to his home and took his children. "My sons' are fine... My path is now clear... Defeat is not an option..!"
It is not clear how long his digital reality show will last; but be warned, it may not have a happy ending.
