The California Highway Patrol late Tuesday responded to a reported shooting on Interstate 680 in San Jose that left at least one person injured.
The police activity occured on southbound I-680 near Story Road, and the victim vehicle ended up in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven on South 11th Street near I-280.
Video from the scene showed a white Nissan Altima with a bullet hole in the passenger side window. The passenger in the Altima, a 12-year-old girl, reportedly was cut by the broken glass.
It was the second shooting in as many nights on the same stretch of freeway. On Monday night, a Milpitas man was shot and killed on I-680 in Milpitas.
