Hurricane Season During La Nina Expected to Bring Above Normal Activity

Hurricane season officially started June 1 and continues until Nov. 30. With La Nina in effect, which is cooler than normal water in the equatorial Pacific, hurricane activity is expected to be higher as it creates a more favorable environment for storm development. Kari Hall reports.
