Orinda police are working with investigators in neighboring cities after another incident involving a gunman and an Internet car ad.
Police say when after an Antioch couple agreed to meet a person in Orinda with a car for sale they saw advertised on Craigslist, they were instead approached by a man with a handgun.
The couple drove off, brushing the gunman with their car as they fled the area.
Late last month, three Lafayette men were robbed of $50 at gunpoint when they went to a location in Orinda to look at a car they saw advertised.
In Oakland, police are still looking for a suspect after one man was shot and three other men robbed Sunday and Monday after they responded to a posting advertising an Acura for sale.
