Crews Battle Blaze in San Francisco’s Castro District

Fire crews on Saturday battled a blaze in San Francisco's Castro district, according to fire officials.

The one-alarm fire broke out at 495 Castro St. just before 4 p.m., according to fire officials. The fire was contained just before 4:40 p.m., fire officials announced.

There are no injuries or displacements reported at this time, fire officials said.

The flames appear to have ignited on a deck of a three-story residential and commercial complex, fire officials said.
