Crews on Wednesday found a 33-year-old runner from San Francisco who was missing after a run Tuesday night on Mt. Tamalpais, but apparently had returned to his car by the morning.
In a tweet, the Marin County Sheriff said that the man had spent the night on the mountain, but had returned to his car on his own.
Earlier in the morning, Marin Municipal Water District Senior Ranger Phil Johnson said the fiancee of Nathan Wilson had called to say her boyfriend had gone running on Mt. Tam but hadn't returned.
