A woman crashed her car into an optometry building in Castro Valley Friday morning and was taken to the hospital, an Alameda County fire spokeswoman said.
Aisha Knowles said that the accident was reported at 7:11 a.m. at Primary Eyecare Optometrics at 2687 Castro Valley Blvd.
The NBC Bay Area chopper flew overhead, showing the white car overturned on its roof partially inside the building near Interstate Highway 580. No other injuries were reported. The optometrist opens at 8 a.m.
