Preliminary 4.0 Magnitude Quake Follows 3.2 Near Soledad

A preliminary 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck near Soledad, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 10:49 p.m. and was centered 12.1 miles north, northeast of Soledad, California, according to the United States Geological Survey.

This quake followed a 3.2 in the same area that was recorded at 10:19 p.m., according to the United States Geological Survey.
