3.5 magnitude earthquake rattles Northern California, USGS says

A preliminary 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck Monday morning near Lake Almanor in Northern California, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 7:03 a.m. and was centered about a mile west of Lake Almanor Country Club within the confines of the lake in Plumas County, the USGS said.
