M2.6 Earthquake Strikes Near Berkeley: USGS

A preliminary 2.6 magnitude earthquake struck Monday morning near Berkeley, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake, centered about 2.6 miles southeast of Berkeley, hit at about 4:45 a.m., the USGS said.
