
A preliminary 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck Tuesday morning in the Santa Cruz Mountains, south of Los Gatos, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The small quake, centered about 7 miles south of Los Gatos, shook at 8:51 a.m., the USGS said.
No other information was immediately available. Updates to come.
