A brush fire burned about 50 acres in the Brentwood area of Contra Costa County late Friday morning, according to Cal Fire.
The blaze broke out in the area of Albers Court.
As of noon, forward progress had been stopped and crews were continuing to build lines around the fire and monitor hot spots.
No structures were damaged, Cal Fire said.
