Car fire shuts down eastbound lanes on I-580 near Altamont Pass

Two eastbound lanes on Interstate 580 near Altamont Pass are shut down after a car fire, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident was reported around 3:50 p.m. east of North Flynn Road.
