A crash late Friday afternoon involving a CHP motorcycle officer shut down lanes and sparked heavy traffic delays on southbound Interstate 880 in San Leandro, near the Marina Boulevard exit.
The officer has been transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the CHP.
