Deputies with the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office are investigating a shooting that killed one person and injured two others near Brentwood Tuesday afternoon, sheriff's officials said.
Deputies first responded around 4:20 p.m. to a report of a shooting at a home in the 10200 block of Brentwood Boulevard.
There, they found two of the shooting victims in front of the home. A third victim was found on the property and pronounced dead at the scene, according to sheriff's officials.
The two surviving victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Sheriff's officials said the investigation remains ongoing.
