Fireworks suspected of starting fire in Martinez

Contra Costa County firefighters say fireworks are suspected of starting a brush fire near Central Avenue in Martinez Thursday night.

The fire broke out around 9 p.m.

Fireworks were seen going off overhead as crews rushed to get the fire under control.

Con Fire says about three acres burned.
