Fire investigators are at the scene of a vacant restaurant gutted by fire early Friday in Concord, officials said.
The fire was reported at 4 a.m. in the 1600 block of Willow Pass Road, at a boarded-up structure that was formerly the Imperial Seafood Restaurant, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
No injuries were reported. It's not known if anyone was inside the building when the fire broke out, officials said.
While fighting the blaze, firefighters tried to enter the building but had to retreat after part of the structure started to collapse.

The blaze was knocked down by 5:30 a.m. Investigators are at the scene to determine the cause, fire officials said.
