The California Highway Patrol and San Jose police were at the scene of a highway fatality Tuesday night that did not appear to involve a collision, according to the CHP.
The incident was reported at 6:04 p.m. on a connector ramp from Capitol Expressway onto southbound Interstate 680.
A male victim was found, but there's no indication of a crash at the scene, the CHP said.
The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office also responded to the scene.
Further details were not immediately available.
