Fire crews have extinguished a two-alarm fire at a commercial structure in Antioch early Thursday morning, according to Contra Costa County Fire Protection District officials.
The blaze was first reported at 11:16 p.m. Wednesday at 2400 Sycamore Drive, Fire Captain Tracie Dutter said. The fire started in an exterior area - possibly a dumpster - according to Dutter, and spread to an attic area.
Thirty firefighters and five battalion chiefs on scene knocked down the primary blaze, and declared the fire at the two-building structure that can house up to 16 businesses extinguished at 12:14 a.m.
Nobody was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation, Dutter said.
