Firefighter battled a single-alarm fire at the 36500 block of Beutke Drive in Newark early Thursday morning that displaced four people.
The fire was first reported at 2:23 a.m. and the Newark Fire Department along with Alameda County Fire crews reponded to the scene.
The fire reportedly first began in the kitchen and spread to the rest of the residence, officials said.
No other information was immediately available.
