Contra Costa County firefighters late Sunday afternoon responded to a quick-moving brush fire in Martinez, prompting evacuations for residents in the area of of Alhambra Avenue and Forest Way.
Officials around 6 p.m. reported the blaze was contained and evacuations were lifted.
