Forget benching -- how about appearing before the bench?
And all for a celebration for a winning run.
A Sacramento-area man who used to coach Little League is taking one of his former players to court for hurting his ankle during a game, according to reports.
KCRA and Fox News report that Alan Beck, of Lakeside, has sued the 14-year old son of Joe and Raegan Paris for the injury dating from seven months ago.
At the end of a game, the 14-year old threw his helmet towards Beck's way, the news sources reported. The helmet struck his ankle and tore his Achilles tendon, he is claiming in court.
He's asking for up to $600,000 to cover medical bills and lost wages, said Beck, who says he "feels like a victim."
