HAUNTED HISTORY: Spook yourself on an hour-long moonlit tour of the Grant Ranch House at San Jose's Grant County Park. Join Ghost Hunters and a park historian as you explore the virtual and supernatural history of this old mansion using only a flashlight and your imagination. The Haunted Ranch Tour starts Saturday at 7 p.m.
FLEET WEEK CRUISE: Unless you've been under a rock this week, you already know it's Fleet Week in San Francisco. Finding a spot to see the high-flying action on terra firma might be tough, so take in the sights from the beauty of the bay. Board the Fleet Week Cruise at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Pier 43 1/2.
RACE THROUGH THE PARK: Lace up your running shoes and run through Golden Gate Park for a 10k race Saturday. Start time is 9 a.m. The course starts at the east end of park, past tennis courts and Stow Lake. The second loop covers the west end of the park including Spreckles Lake and the Polo Field.
