A Sig-alert was issued Friday afternoon due to a reported gravel spill blocking multiple lanes of westbound Highway 92 through Hayward, according to authorities.
The spill occurred just west of Hesperian Boulevard and shut down the three right lanes of Highway 92.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and to use alternate routes. There is no estimated time of opening.
