The Bay Area was in for another wet windy day on Monday, following a weekend of similar weather, which caused flooding in San Jose, trees down on the Peninsula, and scattered power outages throughout the region.
Flooding caused the closure of the The Alameda offramp at northbound Interstate Highway 880 on Monday morning, which reopened by 6:30 a.m.
Two trees fell along different sections of State Route 92 in San Mateo County, which were also removed by sunrise. Blizzard conditions caused the closure of Interstate 80 at Donner Summit in the Sierra, which reopened Monday.
By 6 a.m. Monday morning, PG&E reported 600 power outages throughout the Bay Area.
The California Highway Patrol issued wind advisories for the Bay Bridge on Monday.
According to unofficial rain totals collected by the National Weather Service, most of the Bay Area had seen at least a quarter of an inch of rain since Sunday.
