Hillary Clinton Plans Another Bay Area Visit in September

Just days after Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump harvested some campaign cash in the Bay Area, reports have surfaced that his opponent, Hillary Clinton, is planning a fundraising visit to San Francisco in September.

NBC Bay Area has learned the Democratic nominee will be having an evening with "special guests" on Sept. 12 in the city.

The venue has not been revealed, but front-row seats reportedly will require a donation of $10,000, which includes a private reception.

For $50,000, guests will get a chance to "chair" the event and have a sit-down with Clinton, sources say.

The lowest-priced tickets for the event will cost $250.

Clinton's latest fundraising visit to the Bay Area came Aug. 23-24 with stops in Piedmont, Redwood City and Los Altos.

On Monday, Trump visited the Woodside home of private equity firm CEO Saul Fox and charged an estimated 40 guests $25,000 apiece.
