A hit-and-run collision sparked major backups on westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge.
A California Highway Patrol incident log reports the incident occurred around 2:15 p.m. and involved at least five vehicles. The CHP also reports several vehicles left the scene after the collision.
Lanes started to reopen around 3:30 p.m.
