Bay Area Celebrates July 4, Parades, Fireworks

Most of you probably have the day off today, and we'd like to make sure you make the most of July 4 celebrations, from Sonoma to San Jose.

There are parades in Fremont and San Jose, an early morning Freedom Run in Morgan Hill and a jazz festival in San Francisco, to name just a few of the many events going on throughout the day.

To make it easier for you, we've compiled an exhaustive list of activities.

There are plenty of places to watch fireworks, too.

We'll be livestreaming the fireworks, weather permitting, over the Golden Gate Bridge about 9:30 p.m. here.

The biggest show in the country will be at the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular in New York, which will be aired at 8 p.m. PST on NBC. Make sure to watch.
