Holiday Lights on Display All Over the Bay Area

If you’re looking for something to do this Christmas Eve, consider heading out to see some of the spectacular holiday light displays all around the Bay Area.

On Cherry Avenue in San Jose, the “Make-A-Wish House” offers a photo-op with Mr. and Mrs. Claus in exchange for a donation. All the money raised goes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. Last year the light show raised $24,000.[[286788121, C]]

Make sure you crank up the radio when you drive by this home on Shasta Drive in Santa Clara. The light show is synced up to eight different songs, all broadcast over the airwaves – perfect for watching the show without leaving the comfort of your car.[[286788351, C]]

And, in the East Bay, it’s Mr. Christmas’s last hurrah. Bruce Mertz has hung extravagant Christmas lights at his Concord home for the past 36 years, but due to health issues, this year’s display will be his last. His home is on Olive Drive, not far from Kirker Pass Road. [[286788631, C]]
