It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like…January

Forecasts calling for three storms in three days

It looks like January has finally arrived in the Bay Area.

Several cities saw temperatures below freezing this morning, with some hitting record lows in the teens and low 20's. And plan for rain when making those weekend plans. Meteorologist Christina Loren says three storms will bring significant rainfall to the bay area through Saturday.

That's good news for ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada. Some resorts are expected to get more than two feet of snow.

The snowpack in the Sierra is only 19% of average for January.
