An unpermitted medical marijuana dispensary in Livermore was raided by police on Thursday, according to reports.
The Tree of Life medical marijuana club had been on police's radar for two months, according to the Bay Area News Group. Police on Thursday served a search warrant at the club and seized over two pounds of marijuana, $15,000 in cash and more "marijuana," a police spokesman told the newspaper.
"It will take a long time to go through," the spokesman said.
Police noted that the club opened for business despite a Livermore law declaring all cannabis businesses off-limits in city limits. They told reporters that they also have evidence that the club was turning a profit despite rules to the contrary.
An attorney for Tree of Life called police claims' "totally off base."
No arrests were made, the newspaper reported.
