M2.8 Earthquake Shakes Near Alamo: USGS

A preliminary 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck Friday night near Alamo, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 8:31 p.m. and was centered about 1.3 miles south southwest of Alamo, the USGS said.

No other information was immediately available.
