A magnitude 3.3 earthquake rattled the South Bay Monday afternoon.
The USGS initially reported the temblor was a magnitude 3.5, but later downgraded the quake.
USGS reports the earthquake struck at 1:46 p.m. 9 miles north of Morgan Hill and 14 miles east of San Jose.
Residents in the area reported feeling a quick jolt.
