Michael Morand ran a successful consulting business, lived with his wife and daughter in a million-dollar-plus home in Marin, but lost it all when he pleaded guilty to a federal crime.
After months of getting kicked out of illegal parking spots, Morand found a business in the East Bay that allowed him to park his RV legally within a fenced property. In return, Morand cleans the yard and keeps an eye on the place.
