A body was found at a Daly City beach Friday afternoon, according to a Daly City police sergeant.
Police were dispatched to Mussel Rock Beach off of Skyline Boulevard around 12:15 p.m. after a report of a possible body on the shore, Daly City police Sgt. Harold Rolfes said.
Arriving officers found a deceased male at the beach, he said.The San Mateo County coroner's office had not yet identified the body as of this afternoon.
Police are investigating the case, according to Rolfes.
