Man Arrested at Starbucks for Allegedly Looking at Child Porn

Employee called the police on a registered sex offender.

Viewing porn at your neighborhood Starbucks is probably not the best idea in the world.

That idea becomes that much worse when you are a registered sex offender looking at child pornography.

The Sacramento Police Department was called to a downtown Starbucks on Monday when an employee reported that a customer was looking at child pornography in full view of other patrons, according to a report in The Sacramento Bee.

Officers arrived at the scene but did not find the accused, Luis Mendoza, looking at child pornography, according to the report.

He was still arrested on suspicion of violating his parole and his computer was seized.

The 49-year-old registered sex offender was arrested at a Starbucks located at Fifth and I streets in Sacramento.
