Man Fatally Shot Overnight in San Jose Mobile Home Park

A 19-year-old man was fatally shot overnight at the Sunshadow mobile home park.

According to police, the victim was allegedly shot at about 11:16 p.m. Saturday on the 1300 block of Sunbeam Circle in San Jose.

Police said that the man was talking with some people on a residence's driveway when a light-colored compact car drove up with two occupants. The first suspect — the passenger — disembarked, shot the victim, climbed back in to the car and fled the scene with the getaway driver.

Police said the man was transported to the city’s Regional Medical Center where he died at roughly 12:05 a.m. Sunday.

Two Hispanic men, who were wearing hoodies and driving a white, four-door 2012 Honda Accord, are believed to be suspects. They are allegedly in their 20s and between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, sources close to the investigation told NBC Bay Area, adding that the victim was struck in the chest.

But police said that the suspects have neither been identified nor apprehended. The suspect vehicle also has not been located.

Police will not disclose the victim's identity until his next of kin have been notified.

NBC Bay Area's Damian Trujillo contributed to this report.
