Man’s Body Found in Bushes off Highway in San Jose

A body was found Tuesday evening just off a highway in downtown San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The first report of the body to the CHP came in at 6:40 p.m. CHP Officer Ross Lee said the body was found in the bushes off the southbound Interstate Highway 280 on-ramp from South First Street.

Lee said the body was of a Hispanic man who may have been experiencing homelessness. The CHP is the agency that will be conducting the investigation into the man's death.
