Mass Shooting Threat at Valley Fair Mall Deemed Not Credible

San Jose police on Wednesday said a mass shooting threat at Westfield Valley Fair mall was determined to not be credible.

The threat was made in a social media post, police said.

Threats were also directed at San Jose High School and other locations across California, according to police.

Police said the threats "originated with the same individual and were similar."

An investigation is ongoing.
