Michael Jackson's Ride Comes to Town

Christmas in the Park Neverland Ranch style

An original ride from Michael Jackson's infamous Neverland Ranch has made its way to San Jose.

The spinning hot-air balloon ride, called the Balloon Samba, is outside the Fairmont Hotel right now for the city's annual Christmas in the Park.

The 2,800-acre ranch outside Los Olivos, Calif., was the late King of Pop's home. It also served as his personal amusement park, complete with a zoo, train, library and carnival rides.

Butler Amusements bought the rides a couple years back and has been renting them out across the country.

A sign posted near the ride says it was "ridden by Michael Jackson and thousands of others through the years."

Jackson regularly had children over to play at his fantasy-filled ranch, he even faced several sexual misconduct charges involving young boys.

Now we have a chance to see what fun Jackson's underage sleepover buddies were having.

But Christmas in the Park also has other rides, elaborate displays, decorated trees and killer hot chocolate. It runs through Jan. 1, 2011 at Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park in downtown.
