Midnight Awards Brings Out the Woods

Annual ceremony to honor Elijah Wood and Evan Rachel Wood

The best things in the city happen at night. The celebs know to come out at night. Elijah Wood and Evan Rachel Wood will be honored at the 52nd annual San Francisco International Film Festival at midnight on April 25 at the W San Francisco Hotel. This will be the third time the awards are held when the clock strikes 12.


The awards are held as a late-night talk show hosted by author Beth Lisick. It will include interviews with both Woods.

The awards were started to honor Hollywood starlets entering the prime of their careers and who have been featured in independent movies and previously it has honored the likes Rosario Dawson and Jason Lee.

Elijah Wood became in international star when he graced the screen as Frodo in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Evan Rachel Wood was most recently in "The Wrestler" with Mickey Rourke.
