A Milpitas fitness trainer has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting one of his teen clients, police said.
Milpitas police said on July 6 they received information that a 16-year-old girl may have been sexually assaulted by her fitness trainer. Detectives immediately launched an investigation into the matter and identified 42-year-old William Tracy McCowan as a suspect.
McCowan was arrested near his residence in Milpitas and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on sexual assault charges, police said.
