On March 7, Warner Bros released "The Dark Knight" as a rental on Facebook. The world went crazy with speculation that this was a new partnership between the two giants, when in fact it was just a one-off situation. Well, now, that one-off is about to become a six-off.
According to Venture Beat, Warner Bros Digital Distribution is going to be offering five more films on the social network - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Inception, Life as We Know It and Yogi Bear.
Users will be able to buy Facebook credits and watch the films directly from the Warner Bros Facebook page.
Rentals are good for 48 hours.
