Southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 between the Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito have reopened Monday morning after crews cleared a landslide from the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rock and mudslide was reported near the Alexander Avenue off-ramp at about 2:30 a.m., CHP officials said. It blocked two southbound lanes of the highway and knocked down a light pole.
Caltrans crews worked throughout the morning to clear the lanes and the road fully reopened at about 11:30 a.m., CHP officials said.
